EDRC convenes workshops on Transatlantic Responses to 21st Century Environmental Challenges

Brussels, 22 March 2019

EDRC convened the first of two workshops on Transatlantic Responses to 21st Century Environmental Challenges in Brussels on 22 March 2019 to explore ideas for establishing a new Transatlantic Environment Forum which would work to promote new ways of learning from each other, of pooling our knowledge and creating new innovative dialogues between environmental experts and policy makers in order to increase the effectiveness of our separate - and common - efforts.

The project involving an interdisciplinary advisory group of ca. 40 members is being co-organised with the Foundation for European Progressive Studies with the support of the European Parliament.

The second workshop will be held in Washington, D.C. on 1 April 2019.
